Minutes from last meeting held on 17^th November 2021.

PM had one amendment : In item 6(d) the presenters agreed were for 2022, not 2023.

Spring Show 2022

Assuming Covid restrictions are minimal :

The Show Schedule circulated by PM was examined in detail. Several additions and modifications were discussed and agreed upon by the committee. The Schedule will be amended and circulated by the Secretary.

Assuming Covid restrictions are re-introduced :

It was agreed that, if restrictions were re-introduced, it might be necessary to cancel the show altogether. Alternatively, depending on the level of restrictions, it might be possible to hold a restricted show, which would probably be held under the same conditions as the Autumn 2021 show. It might be possible to take a definite decision on this at the next committee meeting on 9^th March, but it was agreed that any decision would probably have to be deferred until one week before the Show.

Any Other Business

CW informed the meeting that, because of the pressure of other events, she would not be able to take up the position of vice-chairman. This post therefore needs to be filled at the next committee meeting.

It was agreed that the March Garden Club, on Tuesday the 8^th of March, should go ahead (unless circumstances change markedly for the worse) with Bryan Everest talking on the topic of ‘vegetables’. JA to contact him to confirm.
